"Stayed 5 days with friends and family from different states. This place was so clean and cozy and had everthing we needed. Mike and Sue were so nice and friendly and answered every question quickly. i recommend and will definitely come back"
"Our group of women (4) once again enjoyed 3 wonderful days at Nettle Lake. Mike and Sue's property is even better than described in their description and pictures. The interior of the home is so clean with everything you need to enjoy your stay. And the deck is wonderful - we spent as much time as possible on the deck and were lucky to have great weather (the rain was at night). This is our third time staying here, and we plan to do it again"
"Thanks for a great weekend. The accommodations were more than expected. Best family vacation in years. The Deck, Lake and Game Pavilion kept the entire family begging to have more time. Smiles from everyone from fishermen to the Swimmers and Kayakers. Vacation Checklist completed! We will be in touch soon about a future visit."
"We truly enjoyed our stay! The owners were very organized and were responsive to our questions. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed playing volleyball and pickle ball at the new amenities across the street. We rented a pontoon boat for 1 day and enjoyed spending time on the lake. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to explore Nettle lake"
The Most Amenties
We offer amenities that nobody else does including private pickle ball courts, volleyball courts, disc golf, private waterfront docks, and our own private beach!
About the Boathouse
Our inspiration for The Boathouse came from seeing so many friends and family overpaying to reserve a venue for their event. Our goal was to create a stunning waterfront venue that families could comfortably afford while still having a gorgeous setting for their event. So we created The Boathouse on the lakefront of beautiful Nettle Lake! Reserve a few of our FIVE star vacation homes and make it a get away package!
Kind words from our guests!
"Vacationed at Mike and Sue's home could not have asked for a nicer place. We loved the new pickle ball court and outside entertainment area. Caught many fish off the dock and the new seating area by the beach. Just bring your clothes and enjoy a great vacation. Cannot wait to return next year, that will be out third year in a row"
"Just spent a wonderful weekend at Mike and Sue's house and it was as promised. Beautiful home, clean, very well stocked, and a really nice deck to view the lake. Mike is very helpful with anything you might need and responds quickly if you have a question. Nettle Lake was great fishing and great boating fun as well. I would recommend their homes everyone".
"We had a fantastic summer stay at Mike & Sue's Heaven on Nettle Lake home, The home and view was absolutely stunning and had every amenity that you could think of. We loved the pickle ball court, jumping off the dock laying on the lily pad for hours on end and swimming over to the beach area. The weather was a steamy 90+ degrees our entire stay but the home was cool and very comfortable. I especially loved the large kitchen overlooking the living room that was adjacent to the up top deck, the kids loved the top deck fire top table. They made smores every night. The pool table was an amazing addition to the movie room. This was our first experience renting a cottage, We look forward to going back next year."
